Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson, an American singer-songwriter director and producer is also a writer. She is most famous for her role as Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she produced, directed and starred her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she was a part of Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest of children born to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 1977. Danielle is her sister and an artist. Benson was raised in a Reform Synagogue by the Reform Jewish mother as well as her Jewish father.
