Kelly Clarkson was an American singer/songwriter that became the American sweetheart after she took home American Idol in the first season. The show's victory that brought Kelly Clarkson's name to the forefront as it also secured her an arrangement with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records for a number of albums. Since then, she's made several studio albums, including three which topped the US Billboard 200' chart while the other albums narrowly did not make it to the top.
