Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born on April 16 1997 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. Her father, an native of Argentina with Scottish as well as English heritage is her mother. Her mother comes from Spanish and English ancestry. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four siblings, one at each one of their parents' previous marriages. Family resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and after which they moved to the Victoria district of London. According to Taylor-Joy, this relocation was difficult and she was unable to study English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was forced to change schools. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school productions. When she was 16 she dropped out of school to take on a full-time job in acting. Taylor-Joy had a destiny to become an actor from a young age. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
